Complete/Reject submitted PEP

It is the responsibility of the Virtual School Head to review a PEP that was previously submitted by Designated Teacher. Based on the review you can make a decision to approve (Complete) the PEP or reject it (Review again), in which case it needs to be edited and re-submitted to you for review by a Designated Teacher.

To access submitted PEP you must be logged in to Looked After Call website. (https://admin.lookedaftercall.com/peps)


When PEP is submitted for review, a secure message notification will be sent. In case a note was added by Designated Teacher it will be displayed just before the link to the PEP. To review the PEP just follow the link from the message. 

Alternatively to access submitted PEP go to PEP page and set the "PEP status" filter to "Submitted for review", then go to individual pupil's PEP by selecting "Status" button next to pupil's PEP details. 

It will take you to the PEP's summary screen. You can review and amend sections if needed.

On the PEP summary screen you will see "Approve" and "Review again" buttons next to PEP status. Use those buttons to approve ("Complete") or reject ("Review again") the PEP. 

Reason for rejecting a PEP prompts you for a mandatory reason for rejection in a modal dialog window. Provide a reason for rejection and select "Save". PEP status will change to "Review again". A designated teacher will have to edit and re-submit the PEP. Once it's done review the re-submitted PEP to approve or reject it.

Reason is optional for submission. 

Note: After PEP is Completed it can't be edited any more. 

After PEP status is changed you will receive a secure message confirmation. 
Subscribed users (LA users, Social worker and Designated teacher responsible for the child) will be notified of PEP status change as well.
