Error 1061

You receive this error when trying to restart/stop the Data Extractor service when updating the Data Extractor files manually with help from the Support team.

Resolution

  1. Open Task Manager > end the Data Extractor and Data Extractor Monitor processes

  2. Copy the extracted files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Contact Group\Data Extractor overwriting any files with the same name.

  3. Restart the Data Extractor and Data Extractor Monitor services.
