Global Settings
Under Global Settings you will see Organisation Details, Contact Blocks and Groups. Any changes you make here will effect all users of Call Parents.
Organisation Details
This section displays basic information about the school. You can also set the SMS header which is the sender name used on a one way message. Please make sure these details are up to date as this will allow you to use placeholders when sending SMS and email messages. NOTE: this section is read only and any changes will need to be made by the Call Parents administrator via the administrator page.
The placeholders currently linked to Organisation Details are:
Organisation Name
Office Email Address
Head Teacher Name
Head Teacher Position
Contact Blocks
Allows you to block certain phone number and email types that you do not wish Call Parents to use. To set a block tick the corresponding box and click Apply Changes.
Groups
Will show all of the groups that have been created in Call Parents and any user defined groups from the schools MIS system.
By default this page shows groups created by all users but you can filter it down to a particular users groups if needed. From here you are also able to delete any manually created groups by clicking Delete. However, any groups that are pulled from your MIS can only be hidden. Therefore, f you do not want some of these groups to show simply click Hide. This will change the option to Show so if you do require this MIS group again you simply click Show.
