Call Parents Report Statuses

When you have sent a message in Call Parents you can check the status of it by going to Reporting. Note: if the message wasn't sent today click Last Day Used and or change the From and Until dates accordingly.


Sent - The SMS/Email has been sent by Call Parents but has not yet been delivered. If it was an SMS message this could be because the phone is switched off or hasn't got signal

Delivered - The SMS/Email has been delivered to the recipient

Failed - The SMS/Email has been sent but failed to deliver. Clicking 'Failed' will give you the reason for this.

Pending - The SMS/Email has not yet been sent

Blocked - The contact number/email address is blocked in Call Parents so has not been contacted

Invalid Detail - A Priority 1/2 or Parental Responsibility contact has been found but; they either don't have a telephone number/email address, the telephone number is too long or too short e.g. only has 10 digits instead of 11, the email address is invalid e.g. ends @hotmail.co or hotmail.co.uk.uk

Duplicate - Is where a contact has been found with the same number/email address as another e.g. a sibling so the message has not been sent again

Replied - The recipient has replied to the text message you sent them. Note: replies to emails will go directly to the inbox of the account specified in School Details or My Details if one has been entered

No Contacts - No telephone numbers/email addresses have been found for this contact
