t is a responsibility of the Virtual School Head to review a PEP that was previously submitted by Designated Teacher. Based on the review you can make a decision to approve (Complete) the PEP or reject it, in which case it needs to be edited and re-submitted to you for review by a Designated Teacher.

Note: If PEP is not submitted for review by Designated Teacher then LA user can't amend PEP status.


When PEP is submitted for review, a secure message notification will be sent. In case a note was added by Designated Teacher it will be displayed just before the link to the PEP.

To review the PEP just follow the link from the message. It will take you to the PEP's summary screen. You can review and amend sections if needed.

Sections that have been reviewed will have a green check next to it. 
On the PEP summary screen you will see "Complete" and "Reject" buttons next to PEP status. Use those buttons to approve ("Complete") or reject ("Reject") the PEP. 



Reason for rejecting a PEP prompts you for a mandatory reason for rejection in a modal dialog window.
