Stopping a call to a student who already has a reason for absence

Use this process when you have a student showing in Truancy Call but you already know why they are absent and there is no need to send a call.

Step-by-step guide

Double click on the student in the main screen and go to the Amend Report tab at the top of the dialog. Click on a reason code or enter one into the 'Enter reason for absence' box, enter a date expected back (if known) and enter 'Further information' if you wish. This is any other relevant information required for future reporting e.g. off sick or has a doctors appointment etc.

Note: Entering a valid reason code and pressing OK or Apply will stop the call if it is still active.
