Truancy Call Optional Components
You may need some of the following to use or install Truancy Call
Optional Components
- 7zip Utility to uncompress setup program when downloaded
- Microsoft Media Player 9 For where your Media Player version is less than 9
- MSXML4 Microsoft files required for the XML used in the interface
- .net Framework 2.0 Microsoft files required for TC-Integris G2 Interface
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) - For 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) - For 64 bit operating systems
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update - 64 bit users should install both 32 & 64 bit updates
- Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 for x64-based Systems (KB973688) - 64 bit Operating systems with faulting modules in c:\windows\syswow64 eg. Faulting module name: OLEAUT32.dl
Manual software updates for Truancy Call
Truancy Call is designed to automatically update, but should this not be happening follow these instructions: Please report any problems you have with auto-updates so we are aware of them. Thank you.
- Close the Truancy Call software.
- Download the update file below to your local system (unzip if nessary)
- Move this file to [local disk]:\Truancy Call. Normally C:\Truancy Call
- You should be prompted to over-write an existing file - click Yes to allow this.
- Restart Truancy Call and check the version via >Help>About interface
- Truancy Call files (inc SIMS7 & manual dll. registration files) zip
- Microsoft files required to run Truancy Call - copy the contents of this file to the [local disk]:\Truancy Call folder. Normally C:\Truancy Call
