New server/server upgrade what do I do?

Problem

School have had or are getting a new server. This will cause Truancy Call to stop working as our database will be stored on the old one.

Solution

Truancy Call - If Truancy Call stops working you may just need to reconfigure the software. To do this you need to find where Truancy Call is installed. By default it is installed to C:\Truancy Call but you may have changed the location on first setup. Once the folder is located either delete or rename the tclocalsettings.ini file. Then if you are using windows 7 or above hold down the shift key, right click the Truancy Call shortcut and select run as administrator. This will take you through the setup again. For schools using Sims make sure you use a sims account that has Administration Assistant and TP_SuperUser permissions.
